Asparagus Seaweed Smoothie Recipe

Whether or not you are a sushi lover, you will love this green smoothie recipe containing seaweed. Seaweed is a source of iodine, an essential nutrient that many people may not be getting enough of, especially if you don't drink cow’s milk and generally avoid salt. Iodized salt is a good source of iodine, and sea salt may contain it as well, but not in a significant amount. Seaweed contains varying amounts of iodine, but generally contains more than any other commonly consumed foods. Asparagus has a slew of health benefits. For a spicy twist on this smoothie recipe, use pickled asparagus out of the jar in place of fresh, but rinse it first to reduce the amount of sodium.
Ingredients:
400 grams asparagus
1 tomato
3 cups spinach
2 sheets nori seaweed
1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
