The green apple contributes tartness while the ginger provides a zing to the tongue! Carrots and ginger were made for each other, so you can’t lose with this smoothie. Carrots are full of vitamin A to support night vision. Apples are an excellent source of soluble fiber to reduce cholesterol and vitamin C to keep various body cells functioning. Ginger has been used for centuries to sooth an upset stomach, and has been shown in some studies to reduce the symptoms of motion sickness. At only 162 calories per serving, this smoothie satisfies sweet cravings as part of a weight loss plan.

Ingredients: 
2 carrots, chopped
1 granny smith apple, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 cup ice cubes
