This Halloween-inspired smoothie is a great way to serve a healthy beverage at a fall party or to your kids during the fall season. Trick or treat! No one will know that they are drinking spinach because the green apple flavor dominates the taste. This treat in disguise will trick them into healthy eating. This smoothie is high in dietary fiber, magnesium, vitamin A, and it has 100% of the daily recommended vitamin C and 14% of the daily recommended iron. Our photo features an interesting fruit in the background called Buddha’s Hand. A citron fruit, it may be used in place of lemon rind or zest in recipes.

Ingredients: 
1/2 green apple
1 cup spinach
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions: 
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
