Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

Make sure to use ripe fruit for this smoothie since kiwis and strawberries are both tart before ripening due in part to their high vitamin C content. The frozen yogurt sweetens and dulls the tartness providing an exotic-tasting snack or dessert. Kiwifruit is native to China, and is now cultivated in many other countries such as India and Italy. Once a delicacy and rare, it is now a common fruit in many Western households. The easiest way to remove the skin is to slice the kiwi in half and then run a spoon around the edges rather than trying to peel it.
Ingredients:
3 ripe kiwi fruits
2 cups ripe strawberries
1 cup fat free vanilla frozen yogurt
1/2 cup fat free milk
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to the blender in the order of items listed.
