Wheat grass can be purchased as a juice or powder, or you can grow it yourself and trim it to use in smoothie recipes and other dishes such as soup, salad or stir fry. It has been shown in studies to help heal ulcerative colitis, a severe inflammatory disease of the large intestine, specifically the colon. It has also been shown to protect cells during chemotherapy. Both wheat grass and green tea are chock full of antioxidants to rid your body of free radicals and protect your youth. Ingredients: 
1/2 apple
2 packets (or scoops) wheat grass powder (~16 grams)
2 cups spinach
1 cup double brewed green tea
6 oz soy milk
1 cup ice cubes
Instructions: 
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
